About Kulttuurisauna Public Sauna
Kulttuurisauna is a public sauna located at Hakaniemenranta 17, 00530 Helsinki, Finland. It was established in 2013 and is open year-round. The sauna is heated with a wood-fired single-fired mass stove and pellets. There is also a possibility to swim in the sea and take a dip in the ice hole during winter.
The sauna is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 4 pm to 9 pm. However, please note that there will be an autumn break from Wednesday, September 13th to Friday, September 15th. The sauna will resume normal operations on Saturday, September 16th and Sunday, September 17th.
To use the sauna, pre-booking is mandatory. The booking calendar shows the available bathing times for the next two weeks. Please bring your own towel, sitting towel, water bottle, and bathing suit if you plan to swim. Glass bottles and alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
The duration of a sauna reservation is 90 minutes. Bookings are paid at the sauna upon arrival, and cash is not accepted. The prices for adults are 17€, while students, pensioners, and unemployed individuals can enjoy a discounted rate of 13€. There is also a seven-entry ticket available for 77€.
The nearest parking for cars is located in Merihaka, under the deck near Haapaniemenkatu 11. Please note that parking is subject to a charge, and it is important to follow the instructions.
